Hello Gillian,
When doing a rain dance for the garden I do the following here. Wait until
midnight, (under full moon is most effective) build a small fire in the woods. I
place a sacrifice on the fire, take off all my clothes and do my dance around the
fire. The gods will give me anything I want just to get me to put my clothes back
on and return to the house;-))
