I have the first caladium ever this summer. It was given to me as gift on
Mother's Day. The leaves were immense and like tissue. A flaming pink with a
bit of green in the veins. A truly striking plant. It must have been
greenhouse grown.
Over the summer new leaves developed and they are a bit more substantial,
smaller and have blotches of green. I did not think of keeping it over but
now I will try. Warm dry it is then. I much prefer to keep bulbs in the pot.
If any roots remain alive you do not disturb them. Thanks Marge.
