Hi All,
There is a wonderful children's book written by Barbara Cooney, (a Caldecott
winner) called Miss. Rumphius. It is a story of a lady who made the world a
more beautiful place and thus made a difference in her life by planting lupines
everywhere. My daughter, Mollie loved the book so much that we planted
lupines over and over. The rabbits love lupines so we never had the opportunity to
see them bloom.

We did find that if you plant them in pots it is easier to transplant if you
choose to go that way. Once established in the ground the tap root is very
difficult to get out of the ground whole.

If you have children or grandchildren I highly recommend Barbara Cooney's
books just for the lovely story and her beautiful illustrations.
