Hi Kay, Well I went outside this morning and it was an alien world!
Overcast skies and low 70's! I think it might rain (30-40% chance), but
the question is how much.
The daylilies have either gone dormant or they wish they had. I had a
short bloom season with slight rebloom (4 out of 600). There will be a
couple of bad summers every ten years, and we just have to wait till
next year.
The hostas do surprisingly well. It helps that I have a well, but they
are beginning to scorch a little. Only Summer Music won't tolerate the
heat.
Rather depressing, but nothing new. A bit of bad mixed with alot of
good.
