Hi Astri:
I majored in Germanic languages. I wish I had Norwegian blood---but, alas! (I
do have sorta blue eyes.)
Please tell us about the use of hostas in Oslo gardens. Are they easily
obtainable? How much do they cost?
I am very interested in naming hostas and the names of hostas. Names in German
particularly appeal to me. But, since your posting, I think it is Hochzeit for
a name in Norwegian.
You mentioned your national anthem. Isn't there a reference to den
Saganatt(sp?) som senker(sp?) Dromme --etc.?
Please tell me the word for Saga Night. I think it would be a great name.
(Also, my Norwegian professor told me that there is no equivalent in English
for "senker") Is there?
