Hi, could be the difference in climate...mine are also white (much cooler
here than where you live). I remember reading a book describing hostas and
thinking that the author really needed to do more accurate research. Many
of the hostas he described as having lavender or purple blooms flowered
white or nearly so in my Michigan garden. It turned out that his property
was in Georgia, and therein lies the reason for the difference.
