Since I'm just joining this conversation now, maybe I missed this, but I
thought Blue Bead lily was Clintonia borealis. I have 2 clumps of it growing
side by side (touching each other), one from my Great Grandma's place near
Lake Milacs in central Minnesota, and another from a friend's garden. What I
find interesting is that the clump from central MN comes up about 1 1/2 weeks
earlier than the other clump, and the leaves are a little bit darker green.
Other than that, they appear the same to me. I figured the difference was
just because they came from different areas.
