Names and Bananas

Hello; we were talking about banana plants several months ago, and someone
mentioned a banana from India which was hardy to zone 5 or 6.  I remember
it was Musa ???(something that began with an 'r').  What was the species,
where might it be purchased, and are the bananas edible?

Also, I have noticed a mayapple for sale that is noted as genus Dysosma.
Is this a different/new name for the genus Podophyllum (also called
mayapple), or are we talking different genus and same common name?
