Hmmm...I generally use "senior moment" as my excuse:-)  I'd have guessed
the PeeGee (H. paniculata) except that you say yours has round heads and I
think that species has conical ones...don't grow it, so don't really know.

Re: your other post.  I pound stakes inside the shrub and weave twine
around the stems to hold up 'Annabelle' (when I get around to it...doesn't
always happen).  If you place your stakes right, you don't even see them.
Needs to be done early on; something I *never* get around to, so it's
always a bit of a delicate operation.  If you do it early, you see the
stakes for a while, but the doing is much easier.
