Hello Narda,
You certainly are not alone. In fact, I would say that you are the
majority. When I give a slide presentation and lecture on some aspect of
gardening or plants and give the audience the option of my naming the plants
in Latin or English.. guess which is the overwhelming choice every time?
Even in the "more knowledgeable" groups.
One of the first actions taken when someone is new to my web site is
request a hard copy catalog... and the photos are on the web site, catalog
is in b & w. Not everyone in the gardening world has a degree in hort, or
was born with a computer mouse in their hand.
