Shade Garden Gone?

Suppose I am referring to both the list itself and the gardens of the
members.
No so here. Snow has melted now and I can see the plants that were less
than 7 inches in height once more. Hellebores are looking good. Especially
the H. foetidus which is growing it bloom stalk now. Makes a nice contrast
with its new-growth bright new green against the old olive-black green of
the base foliage. The primula vulgaris and veris have nice green leaves and
buds are forming for blooms come February or so. Partridge has a red berry
or two remaining on the pancake sized foliage of waxy green. Hardy cyclamen
just finished blooming before the snow and they certainly have some
wonderful foliage in bright green and silver.
Do I have any blooms open now..... no. but it sure is worth a walk out
to the garden to enjoy what is there. February is not so far away....
