Hello Clyde,
If you are growing a large number of pulmonarias, can you name those that do
not succumb to mildew?

Hi Claire,
I grow all of them that are listed in Tony Avent's catalog. None of them has
been subject to mildew, except 'Mrs. Moon: and 'Mrs. Moon Improved'.(I did not
get these latter two from Tony.)
My three favorites are the one you mention;'David Ward'; and, 'British
Sterling'.
I also have a hybrid of my own that is mildew free. This has been given to
Charlie Seaver who spotted it my garden. I do not know if he is going to
propagate it and offer it for sale--it was a gift to him--but beautiful? You
bet!
There is also the species--very rare! If you or others would have it, it is
available from various sources--I got mine from Soules Garden. There is also
an all-green hybrid with great flowers--the name escapes me.
'Sissinghurst White' does not mildew here.
Clyde
