Some sources for primroses:
The Primrose Path, R, D 2, Scottdale, PA 15683 (Charles and Martha Oliver)
Catalog $2.00 Only PA primrose nursery I'm aware of. Nice selection,
especially of
the more easily grown types. Plants grown outdoors.
A Plethora of Primula, 244 Westside Hwy., Vader, WA 98593 (April Boeettger)
Catalog $1.00. Good sources for auriculas and others, including the double
'Lilian Harvey.'
Mt. Tahoma Nursery, 2811 - 112th Ave. E., Graham, WA 98338. (Rick Lupp)
Catalog $1.00. Source for double 'Sunshine Susie' and other good ones.
American Sakurasoh Association, 195 North Avenue, Westport, CT 06880 (Paul
Held) Membership $25.00 includes newsletters, seeds and occasionally plants.
I have had very satisfactory dealings with all of these people and have no
hesitation in recommending them as good sources. I am sure other good sources
exist and I would be glad to hear of them.
Anyone interested in primula should join the American Primrose Society,
Addaline W. Robinson, Treasurer. 41801 SW Burgarsky Rd., Gaston, OR
97119-9047. Dues $20.00. Informative quarterly bulletin with lovely color
illustrations,
seed exchange, book store (good source for sometimes hard to find primula
books).
