Oops!
Sorry Bibbs that message that I sent to the entire Primrose/Shade Garden
Robin was meant for you're eyes only! LOL
Well now I have done it! Sherryl as promised I will post a small description
of who am I am to the Primrose Group!
Name: John "Trigger Finger" Peat
I have been a lurking member of the Primrose/Shade Garden Robin for a few
days now, and have briefly skimmed the messages that have come across the
Robin. So brief I still don't know what a primrose is, except that it is
consumed as tea I believe!
I am the President of the Ontario Daylily Society, who has a small backyard
garden downtown Toronto, ON Canada but has an extensive Hybridizing program
in North Florida (20,000 Daylily seedlings per year, about 125 seedlings per
year in Toronto).
I am a full time Co-ordinator of Information Systems at a legal firm here in
Toronto, and more importantly - I am younger than John Baron <BG>!
I am very active in Region 4 of the American Hemerocallis Society, the
Daylily E-mail Robin, and participate (get into lot's of trouble) in the
Daylily Chat Room!
I have a rather large home page on the web located at:
http://www.distinctly.on.ca
All kinds of links and pages at that page, please take visit if you have
some spare time on you're hands!
Also, I am, along with Rich Haynes and Mary Anne Leisen a key person in the
creation and distribution of the Daylily E-mail Robin/Chat Room t-shirts!
Also, I along with my business partner Ted Petit of Le Petit Jardin, have
created "The Pictorial History of the Daylily" CD ROM, with over 3,000
photos, and 40,000+ records on it. The next release will have over 6,000
photos on it "God Willing and My Scanner Holds Up".
Well I guess that is about it!
Have a very HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR! And may 1998 prove to be a great gardening
year for all.
Again, sorry for my first post it was not intended for all to see! I am sure
dear Bibbs, will have some sort of re-buttle (sp) to make at my expense!
