You can over winter them in the garage, but do not let them dry out.Mums
planted in the spring or early summer have a much better chance of survival
than those planted in the fall. If the root system is going around the pot cut
the root ball from top to bottom 4 times , ie North . East ,South ,West cut.
Roots will then go out into soil instead of going in circles. Pinch them until
July 4th and you will have a nice bushy plant for fall and lots of bloom. Good
luck. Just keep them from drying out in the winter.
