You are right. The list is extremely quiet right now. After the holidays are
over and people start thinking about planning for the spring, things will
pick up. In the meantime, think up lots of questions and post them to the
list. Shade gardening is wonderful. There are endless kinds of lush,
beautiful plants that thrive in the shade. You just need to be introduced to
them. I am on the far east coast of Canada in zone 5, but I understand that
Seattle has a wonderful climate for gardening. There are a number on the
list from your part of the country, and I am always envious when they start
talking about the growing conditions there. When I am still looking at snow
in the spring, they are looking at georgeous flowers.
