Re: [SG] Welcome

Hi, Simone, shade gardening can be absolutely wonderful! I actually
have an entire garden that is in shade, and mostly gets only about two
hours of sun a day, and it is amazing the wonderful things that can be
grown. I suggest you take a look at Ken Druse's book called the
Natural Shade Garden, and you will see dozens of beautiful plants that
you can grow in the shade. Some of my favorites....hellebores,
monkshood, pulmonaria, turtleheads, frittilaria, trilliums, iris
cristata....well, anyway, on and on.......there are just so many great
plants for shade, and I think you would be able to do more than I can,
with that extra two hours of sun.

Good luck! By the way, I grew up in Havertown, outside Philadelphia,
do you know where that is?
