I've bought plants from garden.com and it was fine, but I mostly bought from
them because a mail-order nursery I liked (Milaegers) stopped selling direct
to consumers and because a supplier to garden.com instead.

I have been steering clear of this thread mainly because it may sound like
I am biased. Which perhaps I am. The bias would be because they advertise
on my website and I am a network partner. But I buy from them things such
as tools. Although I haven't bought plants from them I did receive a
beautiful amarylis from them that was a gift. They send items out quickly.
I bought my second set of felco pruners from them this one will stay in the
greenhouse (at least that is the plan). I do buy from many companies over
the web now that I am used to it. Some other companies are Rocky Mountain
Rare Seed, Forest Farm and other companies, all that I am not affiliated
with and my shopping experiences with online companies has been a postitive
one. I still steer clear of unknown companies, as I think the internet can
be an easy place for scam artists to rip off the public. I hope I am not
out of line by speaking up here about Garden.com.
