Hello Deborah,
I had forgotten that one.... I used to drive up to LaPorte county frequently
over weekends.It was like driving into a black hole. Boy does it ever get dark
early during winter. And only from one end of the State to the other.
I am not referring to actually trying to garden during winter. Just to have a
place, no matter how small or large, to take a short walk to, perhaps sit in a
sheltered spot for a few minutes away from the rest of the world. Renewing that
connection to the earth you had all the other seasons.
You can also create a garden where it can be seen from a favorite window while
sitting in a good comfortable chair. It is just that I happen to be a "walker" and
have learned active meditation.
