Hello, I'm new to this list -- gardening in Ann Arbor, 5a or 6? I'm a newbie, but utterly enchanted with growing things. A question -- do Mediterranean Pinks actually grow in shade? One catalogue lists them as partial to full shade, another one as full sun -- very confusing. I'm very tired of all this ivy in my garden and would love to find a flowering ground cover -- I have vinca in other places, which I like, but not enough to dig up a bed of established tough ivy... Many thanks, Silke
