Ipheion

My apologies if this has been discussed in the past and I've spaced it.
Supposedly hardy from zones 5-9, Ipheion 'Rolf Fiedler' and several other
CVs of this South African bulb are offered by White Flower Farms this
spring. Do they do well for us in the colder zones? Has anyone tried this
or other ipheions? What has been the experience? Did they bloom? Did they
come back? Multiply?
