Hi Katy,

Here in zone 4 Minnesota it's treated as an annual, but I think it's a zone 5
plant.  I did buy a lonely looking one at K-Mart last summer and it turned
out beautiful in my afternoon sun garden.  I mulched it heavily and I'm
hoping that it will survive our mild winter this year (so far, anyway :o).
Thanks for the idea of how to use it to brighten up part shade.
