Claire, the majority of my houseplants are at school where the kids water
them on Monday and Friday. They are pretty much in the dark when no one is
there but they do fine under the fluorescent lights. I have a couple of
those philos that are huge, one came from the garden center at the Walmart in
Panama City Fl. Was intended for landscape use.
Most of my plants have been with me for years, and most have a story. They
become like family members and like family will take abuse and be forgiving.
