Hi, my name is Jennifer Sheppard and I live in North Louisiana in a town
called
Mooringsport.  I have a degree in Horticulture, and if it grows I have an
interest
in it; soil, grass, flowers, gardens & trees, and hose plants!  I have 5 acres
to practice my love of gardening on. I hope to learn & I hope to contribute
also.  Because all the rain we have had my gardens are mostly mud, amazingly
the only thing to survive all this rain is my garlic!
My favorite shade garden flowers, and plants are Fuchsias, Ivy, periwinkle,
Peruvian Lily, Begonia, Gardenia (won't grow in sun, at my house) Hypericum
calcinum (St. Johns Wort) & Plantain Lily. I'm also a Rose bush freak, I'm
waiting for the day, someone comes up with a rose bush that thrives in the
shade!!
I guess I should add I have 3 kids and 6 dogs!
