Re: [SHADEGARDENS] Planting primula

Margot,

Last year, I found primula polyantha on sale at Walmart in January and bought about 20.  I planted them on 15 April, much earlier than I would normally plant anything, but they didn't seem to be totally happy indoors.  They have thrived, but then our weather the past couple of years has been peculiar--not as cold for as long as usual.
