RIncidentally, a few piglets do a great job of digging up/getting rid of
ALL growing matter in an area. We had a field too steep for any
machinery. Bought a litter of piglets and once we realized they needed
chicken wire to keep them in -VBG- they did a great job. By the end of
summer field was a total mud bath. All we had to do was sow with a good
grass mixture.
Our chicken tractor had a laying box. Just collected eggs before moving
on. We rolled it on 2 wheels. Yes, did have a wire lid.
