I subscribe to that magazine. I did not receive anything free last year when I
first signed up but would take something if they offered it to me. Just sent
in my renewal notice. My problem is I am addicted to to many garden magazines.
The thing is with the Nat'l club is you can not pick it up at the news stand
so if you want it you have to subscribe. One thing that I thought was nice was
last year I had subcribed after the first of the year, They sent the back
copies of what I had missed and then started me for the year. What I don't
like is you have a membership # and they give you a membership kit with a foil
type sticker and embrodiered patch with their logo. I have no need for those
things and wish they would not send because I just throw them out. We have
enough waste in our country and if I don't have to contribute to it the
better. Last thing, I got many, many renewal notices and that annoyed me. I
know they all do it. I subsribe to several magazines and they are all guilty.
Other than that I think it is worth it. They probably would refund you if you
were not happy with the magazine. Someone else may have a totally diferent
oppion than mine but I hope this helps anyway
