Hi Rosemary!  Does your red fescue last all year?  I had success with the fescue
mix growing until the trees leafed out and we got the Oklahoma summer heat.  I
even sodded the area a year and a half ago and all of the grass is dead.  The
soil was tested and amended as needed.
