Bobbi...not Gene, but they come primarily from China, Japan, and
Korea. The Arisaema Page has a section on them, with links to

I grow P. pedatisecta and P. tripartita. Have them sort of in the
middle of my newest woodland garden - not easy to get to when in
growth because of all the other things around them, so have not
really spent a lot of time examining them minutely and thus, can't
really tell them apart. Enjoy them, however. One of them tends to
seed around more than the other, but I can't tell which as yet.
