Speaking of deals on bulbs, I'm awaiting shipment of 7000 bulbs (daffodils,
hyacinths, and unknowns)from the America the Beautiful Foundation for our
community garden. The price is about 2.5 cents a bulb so I can hardly
complain. But does anyone have experience with these, or with planting bulbs
from the season before? I was planning to keep them chilled and dry and
throw them in the ground when it thaws. Am told not to expect any blooms
this year.
