No, it is usually a flash flood type of thing and the waters can be quite
swift when it occurs - usually about twice to three times a spring.
The soil near it is rocky and can be dry at times, so I may need some
plants (or shrubs) that can take the extremes, part sun in places, and
with root systems that will allow them to take an occasional flood. I
have some daylilies in the area that floods, but not *on* the creek bank
itself.
Any ideas?
