Hello, Larry. The instructions I have say to punch holes around the liner
about 4" from ground level, then to fill bottom 1/3 with upside-down turf
(it will gradually decompose and add nutrients), then fill to top with
peat/soil mix...wet this down thoroughly, and when it has settled, top it
off into a heaping configuration with more peat/soil mix. Wet that down
and leave it alone until it settles, wetting when it starts to dry. I am
wondering if the nutrients from the turf are all that important, since I
guess one could add them in fertilizers.
