Re: [PRIMROSES] Registered Hostas

Dear Robins,
The question about registered hostas has brought an interesting discussion.
As the number of hosta cultivars increases, it will become even more of
problem, as some of the daylily people on this robin will agree, I'm sure.  I
have almost (I say almost because I am weak and susceptible to winter
catalogues and the "I gotta have its") gotten to the point of not buying a
hosta unless I have seen it growing in someone's garden.  That is the best way
to buy a hosta without making mistakes.  Always take a notebook with you.  I
have volumes of want lists.

P.S. Ken, yes we missed you and it's great to have you back.  Love your posts
and agree with your tree philosophy for the most part.
