Thanks Clyde,

I'm looking thru catalogs trying to find Acanthus spinosum and A. mollis. I'm
not finding much and the zone info is conflicting. I'm glad to hear it
withstands your zone 5 winters. Here is all I could find so far:

A.spinosa zone 5 - Busse Gardens, Cokato, MN
zone 7- Andre Viette, Fishersville, VA
A. hungaricus zone 6 - White Flower Farm, Litchfield, CT

Has anyone grown it in zone 4?

To the nursery people here, why do we often find conflicting zone info for
plants? Does it depend on where the seed was collected?

Thanks,
Cindy Johnson
