Re: [SHADEGARDENS] Topic: Ground Covers

Clyde,

I love the sedums. I've never been "into" them, but am interested. I have
no labels, though, and cannot give names. I received my sedums from a
neighbor and these several different varieties have spread nicely as ground
covers. The ones I have grow best in partial shade and thrive in the moist
beds, too. I find they "burn up" in our hot summers without some
protection. Don't think I know of an easier plant to propagate,
either....just snip off a stem and stick it in the ground...off it goes!
Love these growing around my daylilies, too, making a soft carpet that
withstands foot traffic. Wish I had the names of these!
