Use only sterile medium when planting impatiens seed. They are very
susceptable to fungal diseases. Do not cover seeds. Paper over pot OK for few
days. Give underneath heat. They germinate rapidly. If disease starts use a
fungicide. Are rapid growers. Do not know the new Burpee one, but have seen it
at the Nursery where I work.
