Re: [SHADEGARDENS] Welcome

Hi Sherryl, thanks for your welcome message.

I have gardens both here in England and Normandy, France. This one is really
only a patio garden situated on cliff tops on the south coast with little
requirement for shade plants. To-day the need is for wind-proof stuff as we
are back into our gales again.

In France I have a pretty large garden with every kind of
requirement,shade,full sun, drought, pondside etc.. I grow hostas and day
lilies there and the latter do very well in full sun around the roase bushes.
It is a relatively new garden, this will be it's second full year since
planting so should be filling up well. I had to kep restraining myself whilest
stocking it in order not to make the usual mistake of planting too densely in
an attempt to fill the vast spaces!
