Great post Jean! One of the biggest and best nurseries to buy all varieties
of perennials is Wade and Gatton 1288 Gatton Rocks Road, Bellville, Ohio
(419) 883-3191. Wade and Gatton used to deal in wholesale only. I am sure
all you hosta people are familiar with Van Wade hosta introductions. Not
only a great nursery but a  well planed shade botanical garden. In  Van and
Shirley's garden is  Sum and Substance hosta that is 9 foot across. Vans
credits the hosta growth to the groundhog he buried beneath it.  Wide
concrete steps lined with weeping conifers sweep up the hill through a
magnificent planting of daylilies. A visit to Bellville , Ohio's Wade and
Gatton gardens is a delight.
