Peter--

I found something similar at Wal Mart here in the Syracuse, NY area. They don't
have the tube at the top that you put water in but they have a resevoir at the
bottom that you put water into through a small jut-out at the bottom of the
pot. They had all different sizes. They seemed more for houseplants but I don't
see why they wouldn't work for outdoor plants as well.

Maybe this is something totally different than what you are talking about.
