OK, Wyn, after I sent the message I started thinking about that very thing
and I think you are right. But then what do we call the long-bladed ones?
It's your duty to come up with the right word. Also, is FWIW For What It's
Worth? It's worth plenty, because if we're serious gardeners we need to
know the names of the tools we use! Sheila's suggestion ("the thing with
the watchamacallit on it" or whatever it was) will not DO. Sorry, Sheila!
