Hello & Happy New Year to you Connie - and All,
Yes I do carry the Mazus. The new web site will be coming up in sections
beginning sometime next week I would guess. First up will be the summary
listing for printout. Newsletter for January will probably follow...
"Catalogs" will be the subject. Main catalog will be not too long after
these two. Will keep you posted.
As you know I am primarily a shade specialist, so thinking up groundcovers
for primarily sun makes me have to pause to think... and that could be
dangerous once it gets started;-))
How about.... Hardy geraniums of different colors and foliage heights?
These babies will take anything you can throw at them if you pick the right
ones. For full sun and reasonable prices so you can purchase more than one,
try any of them with sanguineum in the name. The Cranesbills. Underplant
with bulbs for spring or fall color. For up front near the path try the
Alpine Phlox in a couple of different named cultivars. Little cushions
covered with blooms that take hot and dry. Skullcaps come in spreading form
and are easy.. try Scutellaria orientalis with scalloped leaves and yellow
blooms in summer.
If we were talking shade here I could give you a whole design easily.
Sorry, but a bit limited in the sun section. Hope this helps just a
bit.....
