Clyde,
Thanks for the advice on Captan for the pulmanarias. We talke about
that last summer. I have some of the new ones, and want more, a lot
more! BUT they got hit really bad with the mildew (fungus). In
rather dry locations, and not overcrowded AND I have an ocean breeze
on many days, not enough to call it moisture in the air, as I do not
live that close to the ocean- half mile, but there tends to be a
breeze. I really, really want more of these plants, and wasn't sure
how I was going to deal with the expense if they turned to mildew.
DO you think that once I get rid of it on these other plants, that it
will not spread? They are not Mrs Moon, BTW, which sometimes does,
but several do not get it, and those that do, get it only slightly,
as compared with the new ones.
