There are two growers of tissue culture in washing.  There is also an on-line catalog (I lost all that when I reformatted)  The way these are grown is by a constant weak feeding, I think every two weeks, forever.  They are usually in the 25-35 dollar range if I remember.  
If you are interested in hardy orchids, the Calanthes and Bletilla are very easy to grow as well as being hardy check out http://rareplants.co.uk/index.htm  
All or most of the Bletillas are hardy zone 5 and 3 or 4 Calanthes are as well.
