NEW SOCIETY

Hello Clyde & All,
        As you know I own and operate a nursery full time. Right now that means
writing two catalogs and a third version for the web site. Then the mailing
process begins... hopefully in late this month. Won't get into what goes on
in the "off season" with nursery.... Just I am one busy individual... as we
all are most of the time. I also have booked a fairly full schedule of
slide presentations and lectures this spring that require me to stay
overnight away for the nursery operation.  All to say...
        I sure will give a hand to the extent possible on the new Shade Garden
Journal. I will write and article or two and help with the illustrations. I
will help organize and in what other ways I am able. I can not, however,
get up to my unmentionables in this one. Could not find the time to do the
job that needs to be done and done well.
        Definitely count me in, but standing instead of sitting in that chair
position. In any case, there is someone on our list much better qualified
who understands the whole process better than I. Resources should be used
fully when available. To use me when there is someone better qualified will
not feed my ego... just make me feel like I am in the way of someone better
qualified.
        We can do e-mail for now. Are you going to attend the Hosta College in
March? We could talk more then... perhaps some of the volunteers will be
there as well.
