Hi all 1 This is to respond to two posts. First about the Himalayan Blue
Poppy. Ive tried to grow this 2 summers and have failed in my raised woodland
bed. According to what I have read, it resents heat and humidity, must have
very well drained soil but plenty of moisture. I relly tried but so far no
luck. I may keep trying as Heronswood sells them at a reasonable price and
they are so beautiful.
Next, someone asked about a short, black grass. I think it is probably
Ophiopogon planiscaps or Mondo grass. I have the " Ebony Knight " in my garden
and it is wonderful!
Also, thank you to all who answered my questions re: Amorphophallus and
grasses. The information was very helpful.
