Wayne,
I'm sure I don't know the real answer to your problem, tho' I do know that
A. sikokianum likes things a bit on the dry side, especially when dormant
and really insists on good drainage. If no one on this list comes up with
a good answer for you, I suggest you consider joining the Arisaema
Enthusiasts Group (AEG) and getting on the Arisaema email list. There are
some real Arisaema experts on that list! (Not that there aren't on this
one, too) All very nice and helpful people. If you're interested, send
Ray Stillwell an email and he'll sign you up....it is a free group, BTW.

As a matter of fact, this is a grand list for anyone who has fallen in love
with this genus and wants to learn more about them and grow more of them.
I lurk away and save posts and try to soak up the knowledge...maybe one day
I'll actually know enough about them to help someone with a question like
yours.
