Re: Epimedium

Hello Diann,
Have as yet to get on the Probst bandwagon. I am aware of him, his newsletter
and his specialty of promoting the latest discoveries in Epimedium. I have quite a
few species and hybrids around here in my gardens, I watch the catalogs for new
ones and ...occasionally I purchase a new one. Until I open up new space, my
current garden has about all the Epimedium it can handle without looking like I am
a collector of one genus of plants. Have to save some room for the new
hellebores;-)
Do not know why your calls have not been answered since I do not work with or
for him. My business here has peaked and now I am finding time to do other things
such as breathe... perhaps it is the same with him. Have you tried writing?
Have you rechecked the information available on each species/hybrid you
purchased? Perhaps in the descriptions there will be hints on the performance of
each... such as very slow grower, dwarf form, likes extra something or other...
along those lines.
Perhaps others will write you from this list and you can compare experiences.
