I am sort of surprised to hear that Sea Sprite is still being sold.  It was
first sold over ten years ago.  I bought a plant, as did a couple of others
in our Central Ill. area.  I think you got a comment from Beth Arnold right
away about what she did with hers, well all of us here did the same thing, we
got rid of the plant immediately and sterilized the hole with clorox and
planted something non-hosta in its place after the hole sat for a year.
Maybe that sounds extreme, but at the time that was the recommendation.  I
didn't know that anyone was carrying Sea Sprite anymore because of the virus.
 There are so many great hostas out there, I would never chance bringing a
virus in.  My vote would be to get rid of it.
