Re: Ursula's Red (Was: Re: Epimedium/ now Hellebores)

Hello Gerry,
I do not have mine in my hot little hands as yet. They are to be shipped to me
the middle of this month. All I can say is, they sure had better look exactly like
the illustrations on the Terra Nova site. The minimum number one must purchase
plus the price wholesale makes me very choosy and quick to upset if all is not
exactly as advertised.
I can say this... the experience I have had to date with tissue culture ferns
indicates that the color does not begin to come out until they are about 3 months
into growth. Believe you have had yours considerably longer than that....
There is always the possibility you may not have the "Ursula's Red". Mistakes
do happen. Terra Nova farms out their work to other labs and growers. One tiny
mistake gets big in a hurry when you are producing hundreds of thousands of one
thing.
