I don't know anything about Ball Seed, but Hinkley's letter mentions
George Ball Jr. of Burpee. Maybe this is the missing link. I was wondering
if anyone knows whether George Ball is one of the famous Muncie Ball
Brothers (glass factory, canning jars, etc.).
